Class of 2021!

It seems like yesterday, I got Connor ready, left the house, and made our way down that hall for the first time. Connor was starting Kindergarten.

Nine months later, he has finished his first of many years in school. Last night he had Kindergarten Graduation. It was a fun night for us. I think I am more sad that his first year is ending then when it started!

Here he is with one of his best friends.

They walked into the multipurpose room to the graduation march. One by one they had their name called and got a special diploma from their principal.

Then they performed some of their favorite songs from the year. Here they are singing "Tooty-Ta." They sang this silly song every Friday while they waited for their parents to pick them up after school. It always made me laugh to hear them sing it.

What proud graduates! Holding their diplomas. They will be graduates of the class of 2021!

Here are Connor and Ms. Ptak. Connor had such a great teacher. She was so organized and well put together. I really felt like she put so much work into teaching. Connor said that he is sad that school is over because he will miss Ms. Ptak.

So, now Summer vacation is here and after a short time, he will enter 1st grade. I will try not to think about that! Besides Connor being able to see more of his dad, I will be most excited for Carson. I have a 2 month break from hearing him eagerly ask (EVERY day, ALL day) "how much longer until Connor comes home?"
What a fun first year for Connor!

Yeah Connor! Summer vacation is the best!

It honestly seems like yesterday you were posting about him finding his desk on the first day. Glad his grad night was a good one!

It is so strange to have our kids in school. My oldest is just finishing 1st grade, and my Connor will start kindergarten next year.It is hard to watch them grow up and wonder if you as a parent have taught them enough for them to be prepared to help teach others who have not been taught the imporatnce of making good choices. However, it sure is fun to see them grow and learn! You've got such a cute family.

I love the picture of Connor doing the 'Tooty-ta'--he is really getting into it. I'm glad he had a good school year & a good teacher. Cherish the moment & enjoy the summer. Carson will be glad to have his playmate back full-time.

I just had a lot of fun catching up on your blog. Your kids are growing up...time goes too fast! And tell my long lost cousin, Kelly, that I'm just as jealous of your Disneyland trip as you are of my cruise! I love D-land, and would probably choose it over almost any vacation! But I can't complain about the kid-free Cruise! Love you guys!
