Downtown

Since we moved back to Salt Lake, our kids have been wanting to ride the train (Trax) downtown. So yesterday, since it was daddy's day off and a very lovely evening, we took the train for a little ride!

We rode to Temple Square and walked around for a bit. Here are some pictures of our family outing!

Ever since I was a little girl, I loved coming to Temple Square. I especially loved coming in the Spring and Summer when the flowers are in full bloom. I wish my flower beds were as beautiful!

I realized later in the evening that my kids are all wearing plaid shorts. Actually, Connor pointed out that they were all wearing shorts with "patches."

Carson loves to takes pictures. Most the time it is of his cereal bowl or of someones arm or something. But this picture he took actually turned out pretty well!

Kelly took this picture. I love how you can see her little freckles!

Sometimes I look at this 4 little people and I can't believe they are all mine!

2 Weeks, Big Sis, Soccer, Karate, and Turning 30

Jace turned two weeks and had his first doctor's appointment yesterday. Two weeks goes real fast with your 4th child! It is also funny how the doctor gives you less information on the 4th child. I suppose they figure you know all there is to know about a newborn by this point! Jace now weighs 9 lbs 6 oz and is 23 inches long.

Little miss Kate. I can't quite decide how she feels about being a big sister. Most the time she does pretty well, but she has had a few moments!

So, Carson started soccer last week. He is very excited about it. Since Saturday, he has worn his soccer shirt 4 days. He has also spent extensive time shining his soccer cleats.

Just mom and Kate.

Don't let this picture fool you! They aren't always this nice to each other!

Connor is in Karate right now. Katelyn is trying to follow along and do some moves!

Kelly was practicing with Connor and it soon became a family event.

Connor and Kate and my delicious birthday cake!

My one request for my birthday was this lovely cake from a favorite bakery in Salt Lake. It was almost too pretty to eat (for a moment anyway!)

I think this cake was the best part about turning 30!

Goings On.....

Here are some things that are happening around here!

No, this picture isn't from our visit at Christmas. This week has been one for strange weather. It was no April Fools joke when we woke to snow on Thursday. Lucky for the kids, we have a great sledding hill behind our house.

Katelyn looking cute in her snow hat!

Our little baby Jace. He is such a precious little boy!

We are also in the process of finishing our basement. It has been fun to see the progress.

Only a few more weeks to go!

So, that is some of the excitement at our home!
