Random Thoughts.....

Yesterday was our first parent/teacher conference for Connor. Connor's teacher had nothing but good things to say about him (Whew!) He is a well behaved and polite little boy. He is very social and loves to play with his friends. He is also learning a lot and is starting to sound things out in order to spell words. He is surely enjoying kindergarten. Each day, at the end of school, I go directly to his classroom to pick him up. As we walk out of the building, the kids who take the bus are lined up in the hall. As we leave, many of the kids call out to each other, bidding farewell until they meet the next day. It is pretty cute to hear little boys and girls saying "bye Connor," or "see ya Connor." He has made a lot of new friends and he loves it!

Connor didn't have school today, so yesterday, he got to sleep over at Kutter's house. I guess all the excitement wore him right out!

It has been a busy time for Carson as well. He has recently started preschool. Six mom's (including myself) in our ward take turns holding preschool in our homes. It has been fun for him. His friend, Payton, is in preschool with him. They are inseparable! Carson has to sit by her at all times! They have a great time with each other. Payton recently announced that she was going to marry Carson. He also just started gymnastics! Ever since the Olympics (we watched A LOT of Olympics,) he has become very interested in tumbling. He is actually pretty good. He can stand on his head, do a handstand, and can do a cartwheel. I can't wait to see how this will play out!

Here is Carson at gymnastics. Unfortunately, we weren't able to stay in the room and watch. So, I didn't get any exciting pictures.

Can you believe Katelyn will turn 1 in just a week? It is so crazy! Stay tuned for more on her!

I just love that little face!

indergarten is so much fun. Madison just started too. I was a lttle mre brave this time and let her take the bus. But I remember the same thing happeneing to Zack 2 years ago. All the kids are pretty nice the first couple year of school.

It's great to hear that you're doing so well.

That was a really good update. It is hard to believe that Katelyn is going to be one! It's also pretty darn cute that Carson wants to get into gymnastics. Good for him!!! And when Connor's friends call out to him, I'm sure it makes you feel pretty good too. Amazing that if our kids are doing well, we seem to do better too. You are doing a great job! Love to look in on your cute little family.

Katelyn does have the most adoreable face, made even cuter by her red hair! I love how different each kid can be, it makes me wonder what our next will be like since all I know is how MaKell is. That's great you let them each do their own thing.
