One Down....Lots More to Go!

Last weekend we celebrated Katelyn's first birthday. We had a real fun time. I made a bunch of snacks, she opened her presents, and then she had her traditional first piece of birthday cake.

Katelyn got this cute little Minnie Mouse from her friends Freeman and Nathan

This is Kate's butterfly cake. I must say, I was very proud that I could create this all by myself! I didn't need Kelly's creative juices one bit!

Also this weekend, Connor had a first. On Sunday, he lost his first tooth! It fell out while he was eating dinner. He said he thought he was eating something crunchy when he realized it was his tooth! He was very excited when the tooth fairy came to visit. Although the Tooth Fairy's assistants had to dig around to find any money to leave behind!

These are just some random pictures we took. My friend Tifany let us use her very nice camera and we got a lot of cute pictures. Thanks Tif!

One birthday down, lots more to go! One tooth down, lots more to go!

Good job on the cake, Megan! It is so cute!!!

I love the picture of Katie smiling with the pink frosting all over her face. It is so cute. I don't think I have seen someone so cute while covered in frosting. She is probably tasty too.

She is one cute little red head. Our girls birthdays are so close. And I love my camera. I bought it off ebay and it was a 3000 dollar camera that I got for 350. (its a refurb but it works great) Its a great investment!

Where does the red hair come from? I loved the picture with the frosting on the nose. You know what? I made the exact same butterfly cake for Taylor's first b-day...funny, huh?

Oh Megan, I'm so impressed with the cake. Wade has always had to be in charge of the birthday cakes at our house. I love the lost tooth. Once Makenna swallowed her tooth while she was eating Toaster Strudel. Luckily the Tooth Fairy came anyway. Your family is just adorable!

I am so impressed with that cake Megan! It's a good thing you don't live closer, cause I would make you make one like that for me.
